There is slightly more depth here than in the Pougets though it’s less fine as well
The 2000 was roaring from the glass when I tasted it in the estates Cote Rotie cellars
yet the Brunate remains one of the more understated wines here
the 2004 Rosé is especially fine
Moderate reduction renders the nose unreadable today
Bruno Clair, Savigny Beaune Dominode Vintage:2021 There is slightly more depth(from vines planted in 1902). A wonderfully complex earthy and spicy dark berry fruit nose leads to delicious, generous and fleshy middle weight flavors that are sweet, intense and quite finely structured, all wrapped in a finish of impressive length. This is quite firmly if deceptively structured as the tannic spine is completely buffered by the abundant sap. In a word, terrific. 91 2013+
